PM Abiy Ahmed holds talks with senior military officials in Mekele

 

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is reported to have held talks with senior military officers in Mekele.


Several senior military officers, including General Ababaw Tadesse and Lt. Gen. Bacha Debele, are said to have attended the meeting in Mekelle.


According to ENA, the Prime Minister also discussed with members of the Tigray Regional State Interim Administration.

Mobile voice service was launched in Mekele and Maichew


Ethio Telecom announced that it has launched mobile voice service in Mekele and Maychew.


There may be a disruption in service due to the use of "alternative power" initiated by the Mekele mobile voice service; He said customers should be aware of this.


Ethio Telecom has announced that it is working with the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation to provide complete telecom service.

Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdock arrives in Addis Ababa




The Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan Dr. Abdalla Hamkod arrived in Addis Ababa this morning for a two day official visit.

The Prime Minister was received at the Bole International Airport by the Prime Minister of Sudan.

He was accompanied by Sudanese security and military officials.

Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdock, who arrived in Addis Ababa this morning, held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed at the Prime Minister's Office.

The two sides said the long-standing relationship between the two countries is a good foundation for strengthening bilateral cooperation.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, Sudan has expressed solidarity with Ethiopia in its ongoing law enforcement efforts.

Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdock also recalled that the Ethiopian government, especially Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, had arrived at a crucial time for Sudan.

The Prime Minister's Office said that the talks between the leaders of the two countries have reached consensus on a number of common issues.
